As they sipped their coffee, Çağrı pulled out a large map of Turkey and spread it out on the table. "Friends, I have a proposal for you," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Let's embark on a road trip across Turkey, using Autocad to document and design the amazing things we see along the way!"
It was a sunny Saturday morning when four friends, all in their mid-twenties, gathered at a small café in Istanbul. They called themselves "Autocad Gezginler" – a group of friends united by their passion for designing and creating amazing things with Autocad.
Years later, they would reunite for another adventure, this time exploring the world of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and its applications in architecture, engineering, and construction. But that's a story for another time...
The friends encountered many challenges along the way, from dodgy internet connections to malfunctioning software. But through teamwork and creative problem-solving, they overcame each obstacle and continued to create stunning designs.
The group consisted of Çağrı, the leader, who was an architecture student; Özge, a mechanical engineer; Mehmet, an industrial designer; and Emre, a computer science major. They had all met through online forums and social media groups focused on Autocad and design.
The Autocad Gezginler continued to share their designs and experiences with the world, inspiring a new generation of designers and travelers. Their YouTube channel gained a large following, and they started receiving invitations to speak at design conferences and events.
Çağrı, Özge, Mehmet, and Emre went on to pursue successful careers in their respective fields, always looking back on their epic road trip as a turning point in their lives.
The adventure had not only deepened their skills in Autocad but also forged unbreakable bonds between them. As they parted ways, they knew that their friendship and passion for design would continue to inspire them on future adventures.
