It’s a beautiful, weird, and heartbreaking scene: a ghost from 2003 saying sorry to a living woman who can’t see him but can hear Sam repeat every word.
The entire episode revolves around a forgotten item in Trevor’s old bedroom at Woodstone Mansion. While helping Sam clean out a locked safe in the basement, they discover a vintage flip phone from the early 2000s. It still has one unread message: a cryptic text reading “M4P.” It turns out “M4P” was his college nickname:
The text “M4P” on the found phone? A final plea from that friend asking Trevor to “meet for pizza” and talk — a meeting Trevor ghosted (pun intended) because he was too ashamed. The friend later died in a car accident, and Trevor never forgave himself.
