A blocked (obstructed) bile duct prevents bile from flowing from the liver to the small intestine. This causes jaundice (yellow skin/eyes), dark urine, pale stools, itching, pain, and potential infection (cholangitis). Do not attempt to treat this at home. See a doctor immediately.
