Stop using plain PrtScn – use Win + Shift + S instead. It lets you capture a region, a window, or even record a short video (Windows 11).
The (Print Screen) key is usually in the top row of your keyboard, often near F12. But depending on how you use it, it behaves differently. print screen button windows

On many compact or laptop keyboards, Print Screen may be combined with another key (like Insert or Del ). Look for PrtSc , PrtScn , or Print Scr . You might need to press the Fn key at the same time. But depending on how you use it, it behaves differently
