After three episodes of failed utopia-building, our sausage hero Frank (Seth Rogen) and the gang realize that freedom tastes like stale bread when no one respects your food rights. This episode takes a sharp turn into Apocalypse Now territory, as Barry the bagel (Edward Norton) delivers a fever-dream monologue about the "sauce pipeline" — a literal underground river of expired ketchup and mustard that may or may not be sentient.

Episode 4 is where Foodtopia stops being a parody of Pixar and starts being a psychedelic horror-comedy about consumer guilt. It’s uneven, gross, and desperate for your attention — but when it works, it’s the smartest dumb show on television.
