Unnikuttan oru divasam Pappuvine kondu kadayil poyi. Avidutte muttakkada muthalali Pappuvine kandittu chirichu. “Ayye, ithu aara kutta? Kunnaanallo!” Unnikuttan manasil vishamichu.
Appol avide oru vridhan vannu. Ayal Pappuvine nokki, “Kunnal entha kuzhappam? Kunniyal mathrame mannile poovukal kanan pattu.” Ennu paranjittu, ayal Unnikuttanodu chodichu: “Kuttano, ninte Pappu mannile poovukale kanarundo?”

Unnikuttan had a sadness. There was a dog in his house named Pappu. Pappu was very intelligent. But there was one problem: Pappu used to limp heavily. Unnikuttan’s mother would say, “Son, this is Pappu’s nature. Don’t be upset because of that.”
