Super Mario Odyssey is widely considered one of the best 3D platformers ever made. You play as Mario, traveling through unique kingdoms (from New Donk City to Luncheon Kingdom) with the help of Cappy, a sentient hat that lets you “capture” enemies and objects. The movement is fluid and creative, and the game encourages exploration over punishing difficulty. It’s family-friendly, polished, and packed with hundreds of Power Moons to collect. If you own a Switch, this is a must-play.
