Encoding Efficiency and Visual Quality in “The Studio S01E04”: A Case Study of HEVC/H.265 Compression
This paper analyzes the fourth episode of the first season of “The Studio” (assumed to be a high-motion, color-graded production) encoded using HEVC. We compare bitrate savings, perceptual quality, and encoding time against H.264 (AVC).
