We don't want to see three rich guys having fun for two hours. We want to see them broken, lost, and scared—because that is where we are right now. The world post-COVID is a different place. We have all seen death up close. The question "What do you really want to do before you die?" hits differently at 40 than it does at 30.
ZNMD 2 shouldn't be a re-run. It should be a reunion. A reckoning. A reminder that you can find your life, lose it, and find it all over again. znmd 2
A sequel needs that same literary soul. It cannot be Dil Chahta Hai 2 . It has to be older, wiser, and sadder in the middle, but euphoric at the end. Honestly? Yes. But only if it hurts a little. We don't want to see three rich guys
